Research Description:
My specialty is Bio-Nanotechnology and ultimate research goal of my research
is to develop the technology
enable us to sense and manipulate single molecule. Clearly, this has a wide
variety of applications. For example,
human bodies are made of various biological molecules such as DNA, peptide,
protein and so forth. The
mutation of these molecules may cause serious diseases. Bio-Nanotechnology,
the growing and promising field
where micro or nanostructures are fabricated to sense and manipulate biological
molecules, may hold the key to
providing new medical diagnostic and treatment options. My in-depth experience
with bio-nanotechnology,
micro and nanofluidics, nanosensor, bioMEMS has made me well equipped and will
continue to inspire me for
the research of sensing and manipulating targeted molecules.
Research Interests:
- Bio-Nano Machining, Nanostructure Science and Engineering.
- Nanosensors and Molecular Manipulation
- Micro and Nanofluidics
