Replication Server

• The Origin Server on the Origin Host provides the service.

• The Replica Manager takes care of installing replicas of the origin server. It may run independently from the Origin Server if the latter is a legacy server.

• A special Replication Server on the Host Server manages request for replication on that Host Server.

• The current implementation is in Java and has a number of application programming interfaces for generic application development.

• The various components interface through TCP/IP.
