Project Description:
The objective of this project is to develop a low-cost computer
system for notifying caffeine addicts in the CS department that a new
coffee pot is being brewed, as well as monitor coffee consumption
on-line. The system, which will be installed on the coffee machine in
the CS lobby, will broadcast an email message to subscribed users,
display on-line statistics of coffee consumption throughout the day,
and provide snapshots of the users' mugs.
